He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Buker and Leon Buker; and his brother Leon Jr.. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Jr. (Michele) and Edward (Dawn); his grandchildren, Abby, Thomas III, Jessica and Alyssa; and his brother Robert (Donna).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetic Association.
