She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidore Alter and Bertha Alter; her husband Irwin; and her brothers, Harold and Edward Alter.

She is survived by: her children, Harold (Karin Kasdin) and Carol Weinstein (Lawrence Dunsker); her grandchildren, Daniel (Kristen), Andrew (Carole Connors) and Zack; and her great grandchildren, Kyla, Jace, Lily and Cameron.
