She was predeceased by: her husband John W. Irwin; her son Richard J. A. Hartwick; and her siblings, Reiko and Takamitsu Sakai. She is survived by: her granddaughter Jessica Menzen-Arroyo (Jason); her great grandchildren, Brielle, Austin and Tyson; her grandson Thomas Stiglic (Monique); her great grandchildren, Raika, Tom and Logan; her adoptive daughter Marilyn Ethredge Dombroski (Eugene); and her sons, Eugene Jr. and Justin.
