We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joseph C. Sgro (Ewing Township, New Jersey), born in Trenton, New Jersey. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jake Sgro; and his former wife Frani Sgro (Toleno). He is survived by: his wife Frances Toleno; his sons, John Sgro and Jeffrey Sgro (Andria); his sister Elvira Sgro; his sister-in-law Donna Lee (Frank); his grandchildren, Sydney Sgro, Jackson Sgro, Maria Sgro and Palmer Sgro; his nieces and nephews, Gina Fritzinger, Joel Dovi, Scott Shipman, Daniel Shipman and Michelle Beatty; and his friend Barbara Latini. He is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Down Syndrome Regression Disorder Research Program (https://secure1.chla.org) supporting Neuroimmunology Research at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in honor of Joe's beloved granddaughter Maria.
