He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Goodkin and Augusta Goodkin. He is survived by: his wife Vera Herman Goodkin; his daughters, Kathleen Hirsch (Howard) and Deborah Goodkin; his grandchildren, William Hirsch, Jacob and Margaret Goldman; his sister Dorothy Chanin; and his nephews, Douglas and Kenneth Chanin.
