He is survived by: his children, Alison Lockman and Todd Schirmer; his wife Barbara; his son-in-law Jeffrey Lockman; his grandchildren, Margaret, Sam and Annie; and his sisters, Jill Brown, Jane Schirmer and Jodi Schuttler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
