He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Barrett, and Eugene Barrett, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Meghan, Melissa and Marshall Barrett; his siblings, Mary Jane Barrett, Helen Barrett, Jim Barrett, Kathy Corbett, Eugene Barrett, Jr. and Jody Barrett; and also Carmela Williams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home - Ewing (935 Parkway Ave, Ewing Township, NJ 08618). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (935 Parkway Ave, Ewing Township, NJ 08618).

In lieu of flowers, a donation in George's memory may be made to Catholic Charities.
