He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Harvey Myers and Lucille Myers (Gallimore); his sibling Gayle Myers; and his sister-in-law Emma Harper. He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Arlene Sea and Gwen Yancy; his wife Barbara "Elaine" Myers (Allen); his children, Vincent Myers (Sonja), Harvey Myers Jr. and Tracy Myers (Tommy); his grandchildren, Jade, Evans Myers and Jasmine Jackson; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Mia, Camden, Kennedy and Miles; his niece Diane Bell; and his nephews, Dorian Curtis, Paul Harper and Donald Myers.
