She was predeceased by: her parent Arthur Carlton; her stepparent Leslie Schmidt (Lester); her wife Donald Peter Shepherd; her child Peter Craig Shepherd; her sibling Mae Bowers; and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Smith and Marjorie Kondor.
She is survived by: her parent Maude Wright Carlton Schmidt; her siblings-in-law, Alfred Bowers, Richard Smith and Daniel Kondor; her nephew Keith Bowers; her daughters, Donna Joyce Shepherd and Leslie G. Shepherd; her grandchildren, Dominick, Monica, Marlise Maisto, Kyra, Jason and Shana Shepherd; her great grandchild Amari Nichole Maisto; and her daughter-in-law Tina Shepherd (Tanuja). She is also survived by three nephews and their spouses, Kevin and Betsy Kondor, Kim Kondor, Kris and Lory Kondor; a niece.
