He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Pompeano (Russo) and Vincent Charles Vitale; his siblings, Thomas P. Vitale, Virginia Grace Vitale, Charles V. Vitale and Anthony Vitale; his niece Virginia Lynn (Bennett); his nephew Gary O'Donnell; his parents-in-law, Catherine and Peter J. White, Sr.; and his brothers-in-law, Peter J. White Jr. and Don Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Vitale (White); his children, Maureen Dileo (Domenick Dileo) and Michael Vitale; his grandchildren, Declan and Emilia Dileo; his sister-in-law Mona Vitale; his nieces, Deborah Petracci (Bennett), Colleen Kieran (Bennett) and Monique Bruno (Vitale); his nephew Roderic Bennett; and his cousins, Michelle, Tony Checchia, Joseph Steele, Angelo DiSipio, Joe Vitale, Fran Leake and Jimmy Leake. He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home - Ewing (935 Parkway Ave, Ewing Township, NJ 08618). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (1253 Lawrenceville Rd, Lawrence Township, NJ 08648). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery (830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Dominic's name to either the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or to the Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville, NJ.
