He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Eliahu; his wife Hope Wisnia; his children, Rabbi Eric (Judith Wisnia), Michael (Misa Wisnia), Karen Wisnia (Kirk Wattles) and Jana (Lee Dickstein); his grandchildren, Sara (Matthew Schiffer), Avi Wisnia, Rachel and Ethan Dickstein; his daughter Naomi Wattles; and his grandchild Dov Benjamin Wisnia.
