He was predeceased by: his brother Joel; and his parents, Valerie Dempsey and John Dempsey. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Mark J. Dempsey, Jr. (Jamie) and Jamie V Pratt (Chuck); his grandchildren, Brooke, Makayla, Chase, Cole, Vallen and Tyler; and his siblings, Alan (Vickie), Michael (late Carol), Kevin (Marcie) and Jean (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
