He is survived by: his wife Rose Carter; his daughters, Rosemary Lehman (Richard) of Getzville, NY and Theresa Choate-Carter (Christopher) of Williamstown; and his sisters, Florence Demeter, Laura Reichmann, Peggy West and Virginia Garvin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
