He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Blevins; his children, Jean M. Blevins, Joseph S. Blevins, III and Jill A. Blevins (Jacob D. Racey); and his siblings, Marion "Sandy" Gainsford (Sam) and Jo Ann Hammerquist (Ed). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the South Jersey Christian Academy Scholarship Fund, 406 Church Road, Sicklerville, NJ 08081.
