It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris (Pierson) L. Menchaca of Erial, New Jersey, who passed away on March 11, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph B. Menchaca; her grandchildren, Steven Bullock and Alyson Heriegel; her siblings, James Williamson (Duke) and Gertrude McRoberts; and her husband Joe.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Brown, Al Pierson (Nancy) and Richard Pierson (Diane); her grandchildren, Shawn Bullock and Farah L. Pierson; her great grandchildren, Stefanie Bartell, Krysta Bullock, Gregory Pellicano, Steven Baumler, Glenn Heriegel Jr. and Megan Heriegel; and her great great grandchildren, Joshua Jr., Graycie, Landon and Brady Bartell. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Viewing for family and friends will be Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM at the Earle Funeral Home (Blackwood location), 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012, where a prayer service will begin at 11:30 AM. (facial coverings, social distancing, and building occupancy limits will be required). Interment with her late husband Joe will be private at Brig.
