He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hans W. Schirber and Clara Ebling Schirber; his wife Judith Kleese of Luke's Memorial Hospital; his daughter Christina Gates (John); his grandchildren, Evalyn of Remsen, Lydia of Remsen and Nathan of Remsen; and his sisters-in-law, Melissa Lee (Rick) of Emmaus, PA, Elizabeth Kleese of San Diego, CA and Deborah Kleese (Dave Litsenberger) of Ely, MN. He was also cherished by nieces and a nephew.
