He was predeceased by: his father Leonard J. Ammean Sr.; and his brother Leonard J. Ammean Jr.. He is survived by: his son James Jr. of South River; his mother Carolyn Koch of Texas; and his siblings, Anthony Ammean of Pennsylvania, Richard Ammean of Texas, Michael Ammean of Texas, Tommy Koch of Kansas and Laura Ammean of Utah.
