With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean B. Weiner of Englewood, New Jersey, who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean B. Weiner to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Edward Weiner and Jack Birnbaum; her former husband Donald Meyer; her parents, Rose Denitz Dobnoff and Abraham Dobnoff; and her sister Edith.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Meyer-Lustman and Laurie Yarock; her stepdaughter Valerie Salembier; her sister Alice; her grandchildren, Andrew Lustman, Samantha, Elizabeth Yarock and Emily Lustman; her grandson-in-law Brendan Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Riley, Katharine Mitchell and Mila Lustman; her friend Janine Maitland; and also, David Yarock, Mary Mayer, Paul Block and Carme Boixadera. She is also survived by her daughters, four grandchildren who adored her, and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Temple Beth El (1305 Springhouse Rd, Allentown, PA 18104). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the Beth El Memorial Park (3900 Mechanicsville Rd, Whitehall, PA 18052).

In addition to Temple Beth El, among the charitable causes Jean supported were the Jewish Federation, ORT America, the Lehigh Valley Health Network, the JCC of the Lehigh Valley, the Jean B. Weiner Foundation Inc. and the Equine Outreach Fund. Donations to honor her legacy may meaningfully be made any of those organizations.
