She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Kearney and Emily Kearney of Warrenton, NC.; her husband Curtis James; and her siblings, Ruth, Herman, Virginia, Alexander (Elic), Mary Jane, Lula Mae, William (Pete), Esther (Tuda), Rose (Miss Jenny), Charles (Lindy), Annie Marie (Minnie) and Georgette.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alison James, Yvette Legette (Ron) and Crystal James; her grandchildren, Nahshon James, Khaliyah Legette, Khalid Legette and Malik Legette; her great grandchildren, Tyler Paporello and Jaxon Hynes; and her great great grandchild Y'lan Paporello-Lopez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Community Baptist Church (224 1st St, Englewood, NJ 07631). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
