He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Frances. He is survived by: his husband Greg Lubert; his children, Nikki, Matt and A. J. DeBenedictis; his siblings, Paul DeBenedictis and Marie Romano (Gary); his grandchild Mackenzie Vargas; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kai, Sophia, Joseph Romano (Marianne) and Amy Merlo (Chuck); his grandchildren, Charlie and Sam; his child Debi Brush Rhoades; and also Peter DeBenedictis (Shaheen).
