He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Michener and Agnes Michener (Turner); and his wife Betty Alice Michener (Plant). He is survived by: his children, Steven Walter Michener (Carol) of Middletown, NY and Christine Rankow (Henry Rankow) of Harrisburg, PA; his grandchildren, Justin Michener (Dr Meeta Michener) of Denver, CO, Alex Rankow (Heather) of Truckee, CA, Matthew Rankow of New York, NY and Christie Boydston (Billy) of Washingtonville, NY; his brother William Michener (Marion); and his great grandchild Harry.
