He is survived by: his children, James A. Ciavaglia (Gretchen) and Judy Van Saders (Keith); his siblings, Barbara Ernst, John, Mario and Ralph Ciavaglia; his grandchildren, Michael (Joanna), Christine (Paul), Cynthia, Timothy, Craig, Jeffrey (Tracy), Eric (Julie), Brian (Jessica), Kevin (Kaitlin), Kyle (Jennifer) and Kenneth; and his great grandchildren, Nikolai, Jonathan, Katerina, James, Sean, Violet, Hailey, Paige, Abigail and Chloe.
