He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Linda Russel; his grandson Michael Anthony; his wife Maria; his children, Daniella (Greg Nero), Paola (Jorge Badim) and Alessandra (Carmine Lombardi); his grandson Michael Anthony Nero; his parents, Antoinette Mania and Michael Anthony Mania; his sisters, Michelle Giuliano (Bill) and Linda Mania; his parents-in-law, Paola and Calogero Pisciotta; his siblings-in-law, Carlo and Lina Pisciotta; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Giuliano, Charles and Giancarlo Pisciotta. He was also cherished by many loving aunts, uncle, cousins and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions are made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, an organization very dear to Russel.
