He is survived by: his wife Marzena Nitek; his son Janusz Michal Nitek; his stepchildren, Agnieszka Federowicz and Malgorzata Ryszewska; his sons-in-law, Mariusz Federowicz and Artur Ryszewski; his stepgrandchildren, Aleksandra, Ana, Filip and Michal; his brother Jerzy Nitek; his nieces and nephews, Monika (Marcin), Krzysztof (Edyta) and Wojciech (Iwona); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Olivia, Emelia, Julia, Sebastian, Krystian and Martyna.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kamienski Funeral Home of Garfield (207 Ray St, Garfield, NJ 07026). A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (1st St & Outwater Ln, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663).
