He was predeceased by: his wife Grace "Gracie"; his son Daniel Elicona; and his brothers, Benjamin and Joseph Elicona. He is survived by: his daughter Fran Scolaro; his grandchildren, Nicole Pacifico (Louie), Danielle DePiero (Ben) and John "Gio" Scolaro; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Louie, Bella, Mikayla, Luna and Milani.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations for the Aids Foundation.
