He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Sr. Nelson and Elizabeth Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Nelson; his stepson Marc DuBrier of Philadelphia; and his brothers, David, James and Don Nelson. He is also survived by many friends, and extended relatives.
