He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Sr. Sykes and Ruth Stroman Sykes; his fiancée Letha Pompper; his children, Brittany Sykes (Brett) and Jason Sykes; his brother Joseph Sykes Jr. (Esther); and his grandsons, Jay, Aiden and Gavin Sykes.
