He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Zee Jr. and Jean Richardson; and his stepmother Lois Rutledge Zee. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny"; his children, James W. Zee IV (Kerri), Daniel Zee (Desiree), Valari Beaver (Matt) and Scarlett Sarnelle (Joseph); his grandchildren, Ryli, Taylor and Joshua; and his siblings, John Zee, Jeannine Moore (Michael), Jerilynn Cornell and Jeff Rutledge (Andi). He is also survived by many other family members and close friends.
