It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Birdia S. Clarke-Edwards (Elmer, New Jersey), born in Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on April 23, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shelton and Florence Ford Shelton; her former husband Earl Clarke; her husband Joe Edwards; and her siblings, Ruby Raines, Dot Dawson, Walter, Doyle and Cliff Shelton.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Clarke (Sue), James Clarke (Phyllis), Donna Chiarello (Joe) and Ron Clarke; her grandchildren, Edmond Clarke, Debra Wojculeski, James Clake, Jr. and Lori Steiner; and her brothers, Vaughn and Herman Shelton. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews.
A memorial services will be held at a later date due to the Coviid-19 pandemic.
