She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul H. Charlesworth and Estella Bates Charlesworth; her husband William N. Brooks, Sr.; and her son John E. Brooks. She is survived by: her son William N. Brooks, Jr. (Diane Frazier Brooks); her grandchildren, Emily Campbell, Michael (Emily McDonough) and Sarah Ayars (Joseph); and her great grandchildren, Emma Brooks, Alexis Campbell, Juliette, Genevieve, Charlotte Brooks and Paige Ayars.
