It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rosemary DeMatteis (Elizabeth, New Jersey), who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Rosemary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rosemary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony DeMatteis; and her sister Margaret Polce. She is survived by: her sister Evelyn Coletti; and her daughters, Roberta, Diane and Toni Ann. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McCracken Funeral Home (1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Genevieve's Church (200 Monmouth Rd, Elizabeth, NJ 07208).
