He was predeceased by: his son Jorge Manuel Silvestre. He is survived by: his wife Maria Francelina; his children, Virgilio Silvestre (late Toni Ann), Maria Manuela Santos (late Delfim) of Rahway and Gracinda Almeida (Joaquim Fernando) of Linden; his siblings, Maria Santos (Adelino) of Toms River, Gracinda Silva (late Manuel DaSilva) of Portugal, Rosalina Gonzalez (Roberto) of Elizabeth and Antonio Silvestre (Maria) of Manalapan; and his grandchildren, Linda Rivera (Damian), Tina Velez (Destino), Anthony Almeida, Andrew Silvestre (Jennifer), Michael Silvestre, Alex Almeida and Jo-Ann Silvestre. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
