He was predeceased by: his father Manuel Dos Santos Furtado. He is survived by: his spouse Margarida Pimentel Furtado; and his siblings, Jose Francisco Pimentel Furtado, Rita, Conceição Pimentel Furtado, Maria Goretti Pimentel Furtado and Joao Oscar Pimentel Furtado. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews that he regarded as if they were his very own children, many relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be graciously appreciated.
