She was predeceased by: her husband Vito; her brothers, Frank, Gerardo LaVecchia and Aurelio LaVecchia; and her son-in-law Anthony Riccobono.
She is survived by: her children, Angelo DeMattia (Deborah) of North Brunswick, Rosetta DiGiorgio (Carmine) of Denver, NC and Phyllis Riccobono of Toms River; and her grandchildren, Vincent DiGiorgio (Jennifer), David DiGiorgio, Vito DiGiorgio (Elizabeth), Christine DeMattia, Thomas DeMattia (Nicole) and Steven Riccobono.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to the Alzheimers Association.
