She was predeceased by: her husband John J Heinz Jr.; her parents, Edward Byrne and Ellen Byrne; and her brother-in-law Vic Giancaspro. She is survived by: her sons, John J Heinz III and Christopher E Heinz; her daughter-in-law Amy Grant; her granddaughter Abigail E Heinz; and her siblings, Edward Byrne (Marilyn), Mary Stelben (John) and Shelia Giancaspro.
