He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles King and Edith King; his siblings, Donald King, Thelma Williams, Dorothy Thornton, Betty Goods and Bernice Dorsey; and his granddaughter Brittney King.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor King; his children, Michele Starks (Ray) and Michael King (Thea); his grandchildren, Brandon, Jazmine, Byron (Tracey) and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Mauriah, Miracle, Melody, Xander, Xavier, Xaden and Evan Rose; his sister Helen Weeks; and his friend Kenny Bunch.
