He was predeceased by: his father Joseph William Thomas, Sr.; and his brother Joseph William Thomas, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Thomas (Street); and his sister-in-law Phyllis Thomas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Atlantic City Cemetery.
