Robert Sames Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Sames of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, who passed away on July 27, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Sames and Elizabeth Sames of Pleasantville; his brother Bruce; and his parents-in-law, Anne and Norman Shemp.
He is survived by: his grandchild European; his wife Judith Sames of Pleasantville; his children, Patricia Ackerman (Douglas) of Parker, Jill Herbold (Steven) of San Diego, Barry Sames Katy (Dionne) and John Sames (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Ashley O'Bryan (Scott), Steven Ackerman (Lindsey) of Ohio, Ian Ackerman, Elena Herbold, Madeline Herbold of California, Alec, Daniella, Ava Sames of Flemington, NJ, David and Benjamin Sames of Katy, Texas; his great grandchildren, Lucie of Ohio, Emma of Ohio, Charlotte of Ohio, Grayson of Ohio, Aaron of Ohio and Bob; his siblings-in-law, Georgea Oshman (Dominic) and Gregg Shemp; and his nieces, Beth Scognamillo of Florida, Vicki Forcone of Northfield and Andrea Saloka of Linwood.
Due to the current seating limits imposed upon us by the pandemic, this will need to be a private family service.
