He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; and his brother-in-law Julian Szurley. He is survived by: his children, Karen S. Houghtaling (Steven) and Robert S. Hudak (Barbara); his grandchildren, Kristin M. Hudak and Robert J. Hudak; his sister Carol Szurley; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Carvajal (David). He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
