He is survived by: his children, Latanya Pearson (Andrew Pearson), James Robinson, Allen Robinson and La'Shawn Mansfield; and his siblings, Steven Ross (Mercedes), Vita Lorraine Ross, Vivian Edith Ciscrow, Annetta Logan and Gwennetta Brown. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
