She is survived by: her husband Pete Collins; her daughter Ashley Collins; and her siblings, Robert Hohwald, Anne Davis, John Hohwald, Ed Hohwald, Peggy Green and Jim Hohwald. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
