She was predeceased by: her parents, Sara Adamo and John Bonanno; her husband Carl F. Hurst; her son Fredrick Hurst; her siblings, Veta Mazzeo, Anthony and Dominic Bonanno; and her daughter-in-law Doreen Hurst.
She is survived by: her sisters, Frances Chupella, Jeanette Arcure of Edison, Sara Hess of North Brunswick and Joanne Koster (Raymond) of Piscataway; her sons, John Hurst (Diane) of Barnegat, Carl Hurst Jr. of Edison and Bill Hurst (Patricia); and her grandchildren, Lorraine Pharo (Herman) of Manahawkin, Valerie Kline (Josh), John Hurst Jr. (Priscilla), Lisa Del'Re (Salvatore) of Millstone, Leanne Koppell (Harrison) of South Plainfield and William Hurst Jr. (Norah Langweiler). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
