He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Scarlett and Marguerite Scarlett (Doherty); his siblings, Mickey, George, Bobby and Patricia (Koch); and his son-in-law Thomas DiLorenzo (Tad).
He is survived by: his children, Sharon DiLorenzo, Denise McGeown (Gavin) and John Scarlett Jr. (Tina); his grandchildren, Brooke, Sam DiLorenzo and Merrin McGeown; his cousins, Harry and Billy Hartman; his niece Brenda Wallace; and also Shannen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
