He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lynskey and Rose Lynskey (Amodio); and his siblings, Rose Hoffman, Dolores Hillesheim, Edward and William.
He is survived by: his son John J. Lynskey Jr.; his sister Mary Burnside of Ventnor; his sister-in-law Charlotte Lynskey of Ventnor; and the mother of his child Jeanne Lynskey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
