He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his children, Cherie Burgan (Ray) and John Carman III; his mother Patricia Carman (Frank Orlandini); his siblings, Susan Carman Diefenbeck, Douglas Carman (Lucie) and Jayne Portnoy (Michael); his grandchildren, Hazel and Vaughn Burgan; his nephews, John and Jacob Portnoy; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Guinta (Sam), Judy Earnest (David Waddington) and Paul Weldon (Angela).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 1049 Ocean Heights Ave, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Asbury Cemetery (290 Asbury Rd, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234).
