He was predeceased by: his father Bartolome S. Lim. He is survived by: his mother Fredesvinda Lim; his sisters, Marian Martin and Cindy Lim; his brother-in-law Donald Martin; his aunt Guia Gamutan; and his cousin Jesus Gamutan.
He would later win several prizes including first place on Steel Plate Shoot at On Target Range and earned the coveted first place in a Glock Sport Shooting Foundation competition.
