He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Garwood, Sr. and Charlotte M. Hecker Garwood; and his former wife Marjorie Alice Gries Garwood. He is survived by: his brothers, Edward Jr. and Richard Garwood; his son Michael Garwood; his daughter-in-law Teresa Higgs Garwood; his grandchildren, Abigail and Corbin Garwood; and his nephews, Edward III, Brian and Gregory Garwood. He is also survived by grand-nieces, grand-nephews.
