She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Dixon and Florence Dixon; her husband David Wendell Blackwell; and her sons, Alvin Antrell and Jovell Lamar.
She is survived by: her son David Djuan; her daughter-in-law Joyce Dixon; her grandchildren, Nyalsha, All'Quan, Joyce, Saige and Siare; her great grandchild Nianna; her siblings, Alvina Garcia (Kermit), Darell Dixon (Mia), Florence Pam Berry, Alvin Dixon, Linda McClinton, Andrew Dixon (Connie), Joe Dixon and Christopher Dixon (Pat); her godchildren, Deontae Gregory, Florence Dixon and Angela Porter; her godmother Estella Williams; her close friends, Barbara Dorn, Barbara Jean Winters and Bonnie Shannon; and her cousins, Bruce Finnaman and Charles Miller. She is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.
