It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elwin E. Jewell Sr. of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, born in Woodland, Michigan, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurie Jewell and David Jewell. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Elwin Jr. (Stacey) and Tiffany Jewell (Greg); his grandchildren, Alexandra and David Chakov; and his siblings, David, Paul, Louie, MaryLou, Kathy and Margie.

“I am so sorry to get this news and after the fact, devastating and so so sorry. I only got a message of his passing tonight. He will be missed by so many. He kept me posted of how things were going with my little cousin Carol. We were very close growing up together and she was like my little sister. May God help this family to cope with El's absence from all our lives. I loved all of his emails and messages daily and I am missing them every day now.”
