He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Donelan and Margaret Donelan; and his siblings, Peter, Thomas, John and Terry.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his siblings, Jim, Mary and Mig; and his children, Sandy and Ed. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
